Ex Libris Alma Implementation Training (live, virtual)

Ex Libris is hosting live training sessions in Winter 2020. They are open to all Ex Libris customers currently implementing Alma, not just those of us in the CUNY Libraries.

Each session is an hour and takes place virtually. Individuals who miss any sessions will have the opportunity to view the recording and obtain the associated collateral from here.

To attend, you must register for each session in which you are interested. Every session has prerequisite viewing material, which is linked below.

  • Revise and expand staff understanding of Alma functionality
  • Prepare to define and train on local workflows using Alma

  • Note: Hands-on exercises are not included and participant terminals are purely optional.


  • Subject matter experts on the project team will be available for relevant discussions
  • Attendees will be prepared to actively discuss their needs, the work they perform, and their understanding of Alma
  • The project manager or designated library project member will record action items for later follow-up
  • A room sized for the number of attendees, and including a podium, projector, and internet access for the presenter
