Among the tools and platforms used by CUNY Libraries to manage digital collections, ArchivesSpace is specifically designed for managing archival collections and generating finding aids. It does not publish collections on its own. CollectiveAccess is an open-source applications that require programming to take full advantage of the tool. JSTOR Forum is a cloud-based management system with superb functionality and built-in vocabulary controls. YuJa, also cloud-based, is for videos. Both JSTOR Forum and YuJa require a subscription.
