CUNY Academic Works collects, preserves, and provides public access to a broad range of research, creative, and pedagogical works created by members of the CUNY community.
As CUNY's institutional repository, Academic Works both serves as a primary place of publication for some works (e.g., reports, white papers, student theses) as well as a site to share and showcase works published elsewhere (e.g., scholarly articles, book chapters).
The CUNY Academic Works website is hosted on a software platform called Digital Commons, and is governed by the Digital Commons Accessibility Statement.
When uploading content, users are responsible for adhering to accessibility guidelines for the corresponding file format, and encouraged to consult the Accessibility Toolkit created by CUNY Libraries.
