Every campus draws on a CUNY-wide core collection and a local collection of databases supporting curricula and research.
Every campus library database collection contains journal content, ebooks, and video.
Every campus library lists its collection of CUNY-wide and campus resources on A to Z lists.
NOTE: All links below will open up in a new tab or window
Students cannot access library resources supplied by other CUNY campuses. Link campus-specific library resources for CUNY courses.
Use "permalinks" in course syllabii to connect students to library-licensed articles and e-books. A URL that is not a "permalink" means readers hit paywalls when linking to course material.
Brooklyn College
To post a link to a Brooklyn College resource you need to place the Brooklyn College proxy prefix in front of the permalink of the item. This will send students to login to their account and authenticate that they are a Brooklyn College student, staff or faculty and can access the work.
This is the Brooklyn College proxy prefix: https://login.ez-proxy.brooklyn.cuny.edu/login?url= (+ Resource URL)
Tip: Test your link off-campus before sharing it!
CUNY Graduate Center
To post a link to a GC resource you need to place the GC proxy prefix in front of the permalink of the item. This will send students to login to their account and authenticate that they are a GC student, staff or faculty and can access the work.
This is the GC proxy prefix: https://ezproxy.gc.cuny.edu/login?url= (+ Resource URL)

College of Staten Island
Please add the EZProxy URL to any article link for off-campus access.
The EZProxy prefix is: http://proxy.library.csi.cuny.edu/login?url= (+ Resource URL)
Example:http://proxy.library.csi.cuny.edu/login?url=https://www.jstor.org/

John Jay College
Our proxy server prefix address: http://ez.lib.jjay.cuny.edu/login?url=
Put this prefix BEFORE the permanent URL of any library licensed content. That content might be for example a database, an article, an ebook, video clip, etc. Then, when someone clicks on your hyperlink, the prefix will activate the log-in script, and the user will be asked to enter their JJ email user id and password. After that information is entered successfully, the licensed content item will appear on screen.
