For both surveys, please report data for the period July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020.
We strongly recommend completing ACRL first and then using that data to complete IPEDS.

This guide was created by the City University of New York's Libraries Statistics working group to share information with CUNY librarians about how to gather and report statistics for the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) for 2016-2017 and the IPEDS-AL.
In order to ensure consistent reporting, the Working Gruop has written these guidelines to clarify the instructions published by ACRL and IPEDS AL. As a general rule, survey respondents should follow the instructions for each question but integrate CUNY guidelines as well.
Start with the ACRL survey as that data can be used to complete IPEDS.
For both surveys, please report data for the period July 1, 2016-June 30, 2017.
***Please complete and submit login information for both surveys to Shamiana Pond by February 6, 2018 ***
We ask contacts to send Shamiana login information for both surveys to help her compile CUNY-wide results more efficiently. We will not change any information on the surveys.
* If libraries have not received their ACRL survey, they should contact the survey administrator or support at Counting Opinions: acrlsupport@countingopinions.com or 1-800-542-9847. Guidelines include clarifications and provide some useful numbers.
We advise you to review these guidelines before entering your data online. Once you have entered data and saved it, notify Shamiana Pond and send her your survey login information. She will compile the data for all CUNY campuses. You will be able to make changes online up until the survey closes.
